Our Story

A family tradition since 1993.

George Barrett started the SagePort Grille in 1993 with his two daughters, Michelle and Nikki. He wanted to create a place where family and friends could come together, share good times, build memories, and most importantly, do it in a relaxing and fun atmosphere while enjoying a good, home-cooked meal. We are proud to carry on George’s philosophy, “if it’s fast that you want, you’ve come to the wrong place.”

People have met and developed friendships here. There have been marriage proposals. There have been first dates and last dates here! We have shared in the birth of babies and the death of parents here. Our children and many of our customers’ children have started their first job here. There have been so many memories that happened here at the SagePort. We want to thank all of you that, at first, were only customers, but now are a part of our family.
